The Damage....

.... from a woot-off can be severe, on the bank balance. Thankfully, I managed to avoid the pitfalls during the current 2-day event, which I think may have just ended. Well, except for the splurge purchase of the aforementioned 2 t-shirts. Oh, and the fact that Wallace The Woot Monkey now has 3 of his friends or relatives (he wasn't too clear on which) coming to visit him very soon.

I just put money back on the credit card though, so I won't feel too guilty. With the exception of food, I hardly ever buy myself anything. Besides, I'm saving every penny for the new camera. Ok, so I will feel guilty anyway.

I'm currently streaming 3 copies of the same song on YouTube, synched up but just slightly off and at different parts so it sounds really cool. It takes a minute to get the beats matched. This is about as close as I come to being a DJ. This only works with a non-vocal song, such as this endless techno cut by Joris Voorn.

Work. Ugh. I'm overwhelmed and still exhausted. I've got a ton of stuff to catch up on here on the blog, as well as a backlog of several posts to read/comment, going back like 3 or 4 days now.

Please give me the strength to avoid shirt.woot from now on, since I have sinned and purchased not one, but TWO t-shirts in the last 2 days. I'm not saying which ones.

ppps: buying two (cheap) shirts has cost me more than I have spent on my wardrobe in the last 180 days combined. I'm having tremendous guilt. But at least the shipping is free.

Woots, And Work...

I may have mentioned a long while back that I got a new addition to the household assortment of plushie pets. His name is Wallace, he's a Woot Monkey. Anyway I just came across this video recently, and found it amusing.
